FLORION DMC is looking for an Asia Project Manager, New Business to drive growth across five key Southeast Asian markets: the Philippines, Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, and Indonesia.
This role is focused on one clear objective: bringing new clients and new business to Vietnam across Luxury Travel, GIT, Adhoc, and MICE segments.
Role Summary
As Asia Project Manager, New Business, you will be responsible for opening and developing new accounts across the target markets.
You will work closely with travel agents, corporate clients, incentive houses, and FLORION DMC’s internal Operations, FIT, GIT, and MICE teams to turn new opportunities into confirmed programs and successful on-ground delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify, approach, pitch, and win new travel agents, corporates, and incentive houses
- Develop new business across Luxury Travel, GIT, Adhoc, and MICE
- Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline for each target market
- Manage enquiries end to end, from briefing and proposal development to costing, negotiation, and confirmation
- Coordinate closely with Operations and MICE/GIT/FIT teams to ensure confirmed programs are delivered smoothly
- Represent FLORION DMC at trade fairs, roadshows, networking events, and client visits
- Report weekly on leads, pipeline progress, market feedback, and confirmed business
Requirements
We are looking for candidates with experience in sales or business development within a DMC, tour operator, MICE company, or related travel business.
The ideal candidate should have:
- A proven track record of winning new accounts
- An existing network in one or more target Southeast Asian markets
- Experience with Luxury Travel, Group Travel (GIT), and MICE products
- Knowledge of Vietnam as a destination is a strong advantage
- Strong communication, negotiation, and project management skills
- Fluent English
- Willingness to travel within Asia
